Beamkit is available in two versions. Box (one set) and presurised container.
With the use of the presurised container a special UV Light is also needed.
The problem
The headlamps of most modern automobiles are no longer made of glass, but of a plastic that is covered with a thin film of protective coating. After some time, this coating is eroded and discoloured as a result of ultraviolet radiation caused by sunlight and pollutants, such as acid rain, salt and dirt on the road.
Halogen headlamps operate at extremely high temperatures, which accelerates the oxidation of the coating. Oxidation and corrosion causes an opaque layer, which may result in the brightness and radiation of light being limited, as a result of which, safety in the dark is considerably reduced. And to make matters even worse, an automobile with corroded headlamps is not a pretty sight.
The solution
Until recently, replacement was the only alternative, which often involves a cost of hundreds of euros per headlamp. Then products appeared in the market that could be used to polish the headlamps before they were provided with a wax or silicon layer. But now, Beam-Kit Headlight Restoration offers the best, cost-effective alternative to replacement of the headlamps, because it replaces the polymer coating. Beam-Kit’s unique process removes the oxidised layer, polishes the headlamp and applies a protective, UV-resistant coating.
The repaired headlamp is clear and works as new - better than in the case of treatment with wax or silicone coatings with regard to both looks and performance.
A single Beam-Kit is sufficient to repair two headlamps.
Easy to apply
In the case of modern automobiles, headlamp replacement may involve the disassembly of parts of the front of the automobile, which requires long working hours and high labour cost. In contrast, the application of Beam-Kit Headlight Restoration takes only 15 minutes per headlamp, without the need for disassembly. Each package contains simple instructions and requires no special skills or tools.
